The year
2007 has again been a fantastic year for Janosh Art; packed with
special tours, meetings and happenings. An overview:
Happy new year from Orlando
The year started in Orlando in the US, where we celebrated the
start of the new year with our manager Patricia Hale and the first
presentation of 2007 was shown on January 4th in Orlando. A great
start! A month later we could head for this part of the world
again, as we were invited to participate in the Conscious
Life Expo in Los Angeles,
one of the biggest mindstyle conventions in the US. Next to a
well visited booth the presentation on Saturday February 10th
was a big success too. Originally the presentation was scheduled
for a small hall – with a tiny screen and stereo system – but
when it emerged that people were queuing up outside, it was decided
after Patricia’s intervention to move to a bigger hall, where
screen and sound were perfect. In the room next door James Twyman
did his performance; a nice synchronicity. LA brought us a new
adventure, as we received an invitation from Poland
to come there in March. After our return in Holland the presentation
was rapidly translated into Polish and in March we headed for
Warsaw. During the presentations
Agnieszka translated simultaneously, like an invisible yet highly
professional shadow. The audience in Warsaw, a beautiful city
with a somewhat bleak atmosphere, turned out to be very enthusiastic
and new invitations for Kiev, Moscow and St. Petersburg kept coming
in. Due to our busy schedule this had to be postponed, but we
will definitely go that way one day.
United Nations revisited
After this busy, internationally orientated springtime, we finally
got a chance to work on familiar territory at the end of April.
In Antropia, Driebergen the premier
of the new presentation ‘Geometry and
the Quest for the Holy Grail’ took place. Very exciting
for us as well to be able to experience this new presentation
on the big screen. American geometry-expert Phil Gruber gave a
special guest performance and narrated passionately about the
history of the grail. No chance for relishing too much, because
the day after the plane was waiting for a visit to Canada,
where two presentations were planned in the
Calgary Science Center. Looking back, this was no doubt
the biggest presentation ever. Literally; the Science Center consists
of a huge dome with a capacity of 200 seats, where one is enclosed
by the rounded screen from all sides. For us too an extraordinary
experience to view the holograms this big. From Calgary our journey
took us to New York, for a special
presentation themed ‘Global Consciousness’
at the United Nations headquarters. An introduction was given
by the ambassador of Bangladesh. Jeroen van Meeteren, responsible
for the music on the DVD ‘Arcturian
Frequencies’, flew in to witness this extraordinary event.
Our manager Patricia had arranged for a beautiful hotel: on the
42nd floor, downtown Manhattan and with a view of the Empire State
Building. From start to finish a very special experience.
Packing our bags
On June 10th it was time for Holland again, with a presentation
in co-operation with Jill van Maasdijk. In 2006 we have worked
with her on a couple of occasions and also this day went great.
Packing our bags again was our next priority, because on 7-7-7
a presentation was scheduled on Hawaii,
where we were invited by Steve Rother.
It has always been a dream to visit Hawaii and now the moment
was finally here. Another memorable experience. In August we had
a bit of time to relax and we travelled to Wiltshire,
England. Upon our arrival a new crop circle formation appeared
in Pewsey, on which the code ‘Choices’
is based. Taking it easy after our holiday in England proved to
be slightly impossible as our Swiss tour was about to start. The
weekend before departure we celebrated the publishing of the new
book ‘The Art of Creation’ in
our gallery in Amsterdam. The first issue was presented by Emy
van Seldam of publishing house Ankh Hermes. Very exciting, because
we hadn’t seen the book yet as we’d handed over the manuscript
six months before. The day after we departed for Switzerland.
A one week tour, with a presentation every evening in Lucerne,
Basel and Zurich
and a day workshop to end with in Zurich. Again, we didn’t have
much time to catch our breath, because one week later our bags
were packed for another visit to Canada. This time we visited
Toronto and Vancouver.
Indeed we’ve done quite a bit of travelling this past year!
Janosh Art goes down under
After two weeks we hurried back to Holland, because the new presentation
‘The Art of Creation’ was about
to premier in Driebergen. This full day workshop was shown two
times in October and turned out to be a great success. Also in
2008 we plan on showing this presentation frequently, next to
other presentations. Again we didn’t have much time to enjoy all
of it, because early November our next tour was about to kick
off: Australia. From stony cold
Canada to smouldering hot Perth
(39 degrees Celsius – 102 Fahrenheit); the transition couldn’t
be bigger. We received a warm welcome from our hosts Richard and
Hydi, who thankfully had planned things well, so that we had some
days to get used to the major differences in climate and time.
From Perth we travelled to Melbourne,
where Jolien arrived to join the forces. After Melbourne
Brisbane followed, where the audience was seated in a beautiful
theatre with a huge screen. The bigger the better! That same evening
we flew to Sydney, where Karin
and Yvette had just arrived from Holland. With our team complete
we prepared for the grand finale; not only in Australia but also
for the entire year. In the Maritime Museum, in the heart of Darling
Harbour, we enjoyed the last presentation of 2007. A delight for
the audience, for us even more so. What an extraordinary year
this has been!
A most heartfelt thank you to the following
people for their dedication: Patricia Hale, Phil Gruber,
Jill van Maasdijk, Steve and Barbara Rother, Roland Jundt, Noah
Purves-Smith, Richard and Hydi John, Agnieszka (Instytut Wiedzy
Waleologicznej), Emy van Seldam (Ankh Hermes), Helen Papazian
(Shanti Ohm), Jennifer Coffee (Sounds True), Ida Urso (United
Nations), all volunteers and everyone who has contributed to the
great success of Janosh Art in 2007. We look forward to creating
another joyful and successful year in 2008!
