Sacred
Geometry knows many appearing shapes and forms. Not only does
it appear in nature, architecture and music, but also in
crop
circles. Janosh’s art is inspired by these shapes and patterns,
which have appeared among other things as crop circles. These
crop circles most often contain geometric patterns and appear
all over the world every year, with the southwest of England as
peak area. County Wiltshire is known as a mystical place; here
one can find the stone circles of
Stonehenge
and
Avebury. Also nearby Glastonbury,
according to tradition the ancient Avalon where King Arthur resided,
has had a special significance from time immemorial.
Crop circles are huge, complex figures that appear in the crop
during summer. The past years extensive research has been carried
out as to what the origin of these circles is. Next to the fact
that several of these circles are made by people, the question
remains where the rest of these complex, geometric circles originates
from. For example, crop circles have appeared in broad daylight
without anyone being witness to this. Also in crop circles anomalies
are to be found that cannot be copied by humans. Some examples:
dead flies, bent
stems, large quantities of
meteorite dust, traces of extreme
heat, exploded nodes.
In some occasions, snow melts away on the same spot where a
crop circle appeared in the summer before. Next to crop circles
equal geometric shapes have been found in sand, ice, snow and
even on the bottom of the ocean.
Despite the fact that the origin of crop circles remains a
mystery to many people, the extraordinary beauty and complexity
of these gigantic ‘living artworks’ is much more important.
Anyone who has been fortunate to witness this will undoubtfully
agree. When clicking on the button ‘The
Codes’, you will find all holograms, which are based on
geometry that has been found inside the crop circles in England
in recent years.
